The Parliament clerk announced Tuesday afternoon that there would not be a plenary because nearly all documents from government ministries and departments that were slated to be tabled in the House today, pharm were not.
Deputy Speaker Hon Jacob Oulanyah last week adjourned the plenary, to receive the remaining Ministerial Policy Statements that were not tabled before parliament then.
However, according to Ivan Kasirye from the Clerk’s office, by Tuesday afternoon, only statements from Uganda Bureau of Statistics [UBOS] had been received.
“This is therefore to inform you that Plenary will not take place,” read a notice to all parliamentarians. “However, business will resume tomorrow Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Parliament chambers.”
