Parliament Reopens Journalists’ Office

Parliament has reopened the office for journalists accredited to cover the institution.

The office was closed on 18th January 2016 under the orders from the Communications Director, click http://cognac-ambassador.com/wp-includes/feed-atom.php Chris Obore who said the leadership of journalists at Parliament had become militant and non-cooperative.

The UPPA went to court protesting the degree requirement for a reporter to be accredited to cover Parliament.

Though the case is still ongoing, dosage Parliament went ahead and implemented the new regulations. Media houses complied and sent new names to Parliament for accreditations.

On Friday the department of communications reopened the office for the newly accredited reporters.
