Onduparaka Football Club players Mohammed Shaban and Rashid Toha have landed trial invites to Premier Soccer League(PSL) side Super Sport.
The two players who are currently part of the Uganda cranes team preparing for 2018 Championship of African qualifiers have been invited to South Africa according to a reliable source.
The source intimated to this website the two players will fly to South Africa and will be subjected to trials before evaluating whether they can retain them on a permanent basis.
“Shaban and Rashid will go to South Africa this week to have trials with Super Sport,” confirmed a source who preferred anonymity.
After Monday’s training, Uganda Cranes coach Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic hinted about players leaving the camp to go for trials but he couldn’t reveal the names.
“There are some two or three players who will leave the camp to go for trials in a certain country,” Micho said.
The two players are signed to a South African players agency called Forward and will jet out of the country either Tuesday morning or Wednesday according to the source.
“They have been waiting for their visas but information I get is they will fly out tomorrow(Tuesday) or Wednesday,” said the source.
