Fufa spokesman Ahmed Hussein confirmed to this website that there were some irregularities but could not disclose further because the case was under investigations.
“True there is a matter we are following that has signs of irregularities in football administration. However we are handling internally hand in hand with the Fufa competitions committee and club licensing committee,” said Hussein.
Onduparaka confirmed on their official social platforms that they have launched investigations and will act accordingly after the findings.
“We have received allegations from a section of people on social media regarding the qualifications of the club Chief Executive Officer Mr. Anthony Afeti,” The statement partly reads.
“We would like to assure our fans and sponsors that the club is treating these allegations with the seriousness it deserves. We have started internal investigations and appropriate action shall be taken based on the findings. We would like to assure our fans that as a club, we subscribe to very high standards of professionalism and expect the same of all our staff, players and all stakeholders.
The club called for patience from the fans and support during Tuesday’s game away to URA.
