Former SC Victoria University midfielder Mathew Odong is elated with the fact that he will be featuring in the 2017 Kenya Premier League after helping his side Kariobangi Sharks to earn promotion.
The Sharks finished second in Kenya’s second division league and thus booked a spot on next season’s league.

Odong joined the team at the beginning of the season on loan from Tusker FC and has gone on to score seven goals and a double figure of assists.
“I joined the club with a positive mind and determined to help achieve the goals set. I managed to score six goals and sixteen assists in the league, http://cheesejaguar.com/wp-includes/class-wp-site-query.php One goal in the Gotv shield and three assists.”
The Nairobi based club capped their season with a bronze medal after finishing third in the GOTV shield cup.
“My next target is to help the team maintain slot in the KPL and finish among the top four. I am also aiming at the golden boot next season and hopefully I can.”
