Odoch to Replace Mbabazi at URA FC

Jinja Municipal head coach James Odoch has quit the club for Uganda Revenue Authority FC, pill ChimpSport can reveal.

Sources around the tax collectors hinted on the coach’s move ahead of the duo’s clash on Saturday this week.

“He (Coach Odoch) will be joining the team this week probably on Thursday to replace sacked Mbabazi, drug ” the source revealed

The tax collectors recently sacked their assistant coach Livingston Mbabazi on disciplinary issues after the coach had continuously skipped duty with numerous apologies.

ChimpSport reached Odoch for a comment and he indeed confirmed the development.

“I hope to be joining the club soon but there are some things still delaying which I will confirm once it’s all done, ” a hesitant Odoch said.

Odoch joined JMC Hippos at the end of the 2013/14 season replacing Coach Kelly who had failed to beat the saints to the sole Rwenzori group direct promotion spot.

He took over and managed to qualify to the topflight a week later after beating rivals Kirinya Jinja SS FC 6-2 in the playoffs finals.

The coach guided the Jinja lords to a 10th place finish with 38 points. He has so far picked a point from three outings losing 2-1 to KCCA FC and 1-0 to SC Villa, then a barren draw against Kirinya in the derby. The coach is a former Express and Cranes player.
