About twenty former Uganda Cranes internationals are expected to arrive in Kigali on Wednesday ahead of the scheduled friendly against their Rwanda counterparts on Thursday at the Amahoro stadium.
The former stars include David Obua, help http://centroilponte.com/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/lib/query/helper.php Kefa Kisala (current URA FC coach), more about Abubakar Tabula, buy Hassan Mubiru, Hakim ‘boda boda’ Magumba and Express FC midfielder Vincent Kayizzi who also makes the grade.
The main objective of the friendly is to revive the golden memories when the stars brought glory to their respective nations and also to spur the current generation to work hard and emulate the old guards.
“This friendly will be an occasion to remember the late Amavubi coach Jean Marie Ntwagwabira. The ex-internationals will give donations to his family as a sign of solidarity and recognition for his contribution to the development of football in Rwanda,” Amavubi’s assistant coach who is also Ferwafa deputy TD Jimmy Mulisa was quoted by federation media.
The former Amavubi forward, Mulisa, will feature in the match together with the likes of Olivier Karekezi, Said Abedi Makasi, Karim Kamanzi and Bokota Labama. They will be coached by Longin Rudasingwa and Kanyankore Yaounde.
