Uganda’s National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has been awarded the African water Utility of the year 2015/16.
At a ceremony which took place on Wednesday May 18th in Cape Town South Africa, erectile NWSC’s Managing Director Eng. Dr. Silver Mugisha lifted the award for the second time in a row, ed having won the same in the year 2013/14.
The corporation was competing with other utilities from across Africa including Moshi Urban Water and Sewerage Authority (Tanzania), Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company (Kenya), Rand Water (South Africa), and Umgeni Water (South Africa).
The NWSC Managing Director Eng. Mugisha was also nominated in the category Water Utility Executive of the Year.
