NWSC, PayWay Partner to Ease Payment of Water Bills

The National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has launched yet another convenient payment system (PayWay) through which clients can pay their water bills.

According to NWSC officials, purchase the development is in a bid to further convenience and efficiency in service delivery.

“The partnership with Payway is part of series of e-payment options that the corporation has rolled out to ensure that our customers have convenience and easy access as they pay their water bills, ” said Sheba Bamwine, NWSC’s PRO.

Payway joins a couple other electronic payment platforms that NWSC customers can use to pay their water bills including e-water payments in commercial banks, mobile money, Direct debit from your debit card among others.

An on spot billing system is also available for customers who can’t use the different electronic platforms.

Meanwhile, customers have been informed that direct cash payments at NWSC offices are no longer accepted although the branch offices remain open for other water related issues like customer complaints, reconnections, reporting leaks, bursts, water outage cases, among others.
