NWSC Busts Hospital, Apartments Involved in Water Theft

Jaro Hospital was found to have illegal connections which were unearthed.

The National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) on Monday evening unearthed connections at a Hospital and an apartments’ block in Namugongo that have been involved in water theft.

Jaro Hospital which has not opened yet together with an unidentified apartments’ block were found to have illegal water connections which were unearthed by a team of NWSC engineers.

The corporation has always condemned the acts of water theft saying that “Customers who steal water deny many deserving customers a right to services.”

The public has been advised to report any leakages in the water system and to comply in paying water bills to enable the NWSC improve customer service delivery in the country.
