Long Serving Head of Marketing at Nile Breweries Limited Daniel Ogong has resigned.
Mr Ogong who worked for more than a decade at the Jinja-based Company has tendered in his resignation and will be leaving in days.

It is still unclear what forced the veteran marketer, physician http://demamore.com/wp-includes/ms-deprecated.php who helped develop the regionally successful company’s numerous brands; to throw in the towel.
The development however comes shortly after the purchase of SABmiller, — a UK based company to which Nile Breweries is subsidiary, — by Anheuser-Busch InBev NV, the world’s largest beer making company.
From the time Ogong joined Nile Breweries back in 2002, the company was enjoying about 40 percent of the market share.
As he leaves, the company controls close to 60 percent of the local beer market in the country.
