The Canons managed to run riot at the court and within the first 20 minutes of halftime, they had opened up an Eight point range, leading 32-24.

Wundi Steven and Egau Jonathan logged in 24  and 21 points respectively as the team managed to convert 29 of the 60 shots attempted, and 12 of the converted shots  were taken outside the 3-point arc.

Okoth Henry who scored 24 points was the only bright spot for Baker Kyambadde’s Tomahawks and he couldn’t carry the team luggage alone as they were mercilessly torn apart by a better team on the day.

Tomahawks eventually finished the game with a disappointing 25% shooting accuracy.

Their only win of the season came in the hands of Our Saviour, having suffered huge defeats to Ndejje University Angels and Pemba Warriors.

In the other game of the day, Jamila Nansikombi collected 10 rebounds and hooped in 17 points as Lioness suffered a 37-70 heavy defeat to Boniface Okello’s JKL lady dolphins.

JKL lady Dolphins will return to action this Friday to face off with Javon Ladies as a curtain raiser to the big bout which will see 4 time league Champions City Oilers lock horns with the unbeaten KIU titans.
