The 2017 National Basketball League will resume today with two games in the Men’s category to be played at YMCA outdoor court in Wandegeya.

Blick was not in fine form but he managed to register 11 points and 8 rebounds in their recent loss against Betway Power.

And as the saying normally goes: Desperate times calls for desperate measures, JKL Dolphins will call upon Uganda’s veteran player Norman Blick to be at his best if at all they will have a chance to upset the odds.

In such tough scenarios, JKL Dolphins have another plan B, their coach Boniface Okello normally puts on his playing boots and joins the rest of his players to court and of course he delivers.

The team’s core of Libe Makala and Ogara Daniel has been in fine form throughout but the whole team completely looked out of ideas in their 5 defeats so far.

Today against the City Oilers, JKL Dolphins will have to apply all their plans at work if they are to pick maximum points.

City Oilers on the other hand have had some downs starting from their opening season loss against Betway Power to other poor displays against UCU canons and recently against Ndejje University Angels.

Juruni’s side in their last league game managed to return to winning ways defeating Pemba Warriors in a 10-point game to break their rival’s unbeaten streak.

In that game, the team looked better than they have been throughout this season as Landry Ndikumana picked 17 points and 13 rebounds, Jimmy Enabu, Ben Komakech, Otim Jonah and captain Omony too were at their best.

If Oiler’s form against Warriors is to go by, JKL dolphins have a huge mountain to climb.

In the other league’s encounter on the day, Ronnie Mutebi’s Warriors will look to regain their lost pieces when they take on Nsambya based side, Sharing Youth.
