Struggling Startimes Falcons finally returned to winning ways after an emphatic win over Our Saviour on Friday at Lugogo Indoor stadium.

Falcons who have had a torrid season that has seen them languishing in the drop zone winning just two games before the game against Our Saviour pulled off a wonderful performance to win 80-67.

Stephen Omony orchestrated the damage on the Kikoni based side scoring a game high 28 points though the show belonged to Frank Karoro who had 23 points for Falcons with six 3s.

Our Saviour started strong taking the first quarter 17-15 but a resilient Falcon cut the deficit to just one point to 30-29 going into half time.

After recess, decease the six time champions went on rampage winning the third quarter with the scoreboard reading 50-45 before eventually holding on to win 80-67 in the last quarter.

The result means Falcons win their third game in the season making it 3-10 while Our Saviour who were playing their first game since the start of the second round are 8-5.

In the other game played,Nick Natuhereza’s UCU Canons defeated fast fading Ndejje University Angels 61-38.
