Nabweeteme Feted, Assured of Stay Next Season

Nabweeteme has scored 22 goals since joining SWOSU

Nabweeteme has been named on the best team of the season alongside Burkina Faso export Alimata Rabo whonis also the DWCCA Central Region Player of the Year.

She joined SWOSU at the beginning of the second round and has exhibited top class performance which has seen her score 19 goals in the regular season and three in post season.

The achievements twice earned her the GAC Offensive Player of the Week and eventually the GAC’s freshman of the Year in the regular season.

The 19 regular season goals lifted her to the runner up in the golden boot race just one behind the Rabo. SWOSU confirmed that Sandra and her two other teammates automatically earn a place in next season’s team.

Olivia Butler is the third player to be nominated though in the second best team of the season.
