“He (Mutyaba) has decided to resign by himself even before we made our final decision,” Busia Fisheries Manager, Kassim Sula confirmed to ChimpSport.

“There are several issues he raised which we found ridiculous. For example he claims we owed him some money which is not really true but was just made up to cover the team’s poor start.”

Mutyaba joined Busia Fisheries after initially parting ways with Premier League side Lweza FC.

“The management sat on Wednesday and had earlier agreed to part ways with him and it’s still fine that he came out to resign by himself. Bob Magero will assume the job on an interim role probably up to the end of the season as we start search,” Sula added

Magero will be assisted by Yasin Kigenyi.

The border side are fifth on the table with 14 points about seven behind Elgon leaders Maroons and two adrift a playoff position.
