Buhweju District Police Commander Ben Nuwagaba confirmed the accident which he blamed on the road’s poor condition.

He advised drivers to avoid over-speeding and carelessness in the hilly area.

Residents told Chimpreports that this is the 5th accident in the area in a space of one year. They urged government improve the condition of the road.

It is said that the man had sustained serious injuries in an accident in two weeks time and was still healing from the wounds before his death yesterday in another accident.

Uganda will be commemorating this year’s June 9, website http://davelane.com.au/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/admin/admin-functions.php Heroes Day in the western central district of Kiboga.

The event according to government spokesperson Mr Ofwono Opondo, prostate will be held at Katwe Primary School grounds, order Karokora parish in Dwanilo sub county.

At the function Opondo revealed, President Yoweri Museveni will unveil a monument in memory of those who died in the in the Luwero struggle at Dwaniro sub county headquarters.

Thereafter the president will proceed to Katwe primary school grounds to address the public gathering at 11am.

“Dwanilo was selected to host this year’s Heroes’ Day simply because it was the epicenter of the 1981-1986 liberation struggle that ushered the NRM government.

“Over the years, the history of Uganda has been determined or shaped by different individuals and endowed with extraordinary conviction in what is good for their country and her people .They have always tried to defend what is right and to stop what’s wrong,” said Opondo.

“Their works greatly impact on the Republic of Uganda, on her difficult journey to nationhood. These are our Nationals whose great lives and heroic deeds, we celebrate on June 9th as we do every year.”
