The president as a result, information pills ordered for the immediate installation of cameras in all major towns and along highways.

He said he gave a directive to the Ministry of Finance to work with Police to immediately close what he called the remaining gap in the already robust security framework.

In the meantime however, Museveni urged security officers and the rest of Ugandans to remain vigilant and to take appropriate action when necessary, including confronting the criminals when they spot them.
