The United States has announced releasing additional funding of over 80m USD for the humanitarian assistance in the war stricken South Sudan that recently witnessed a peace agreement.

The US, viagra dosage http://darioergas.org/wp-admin/includes/user.php which is also the biggest humanitarian funder in South Sudan followed by Norway, said on Tuesday that the fund follows the signing of Compromised Peace Agreement between the government of President Salva Kiir and the rebel group under Dr. Riek Machar.

Since the war broke out in the world`s youngest nation in December 2013 nearly half of the population are surviving on the humanitarian assistance.

The new funding by the US is also going to help South Sudan refugees who fled to the neighboring countries like Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya and Sudan.

“The United States is pleased to announce more than $80 million in additional humanitarian assistance for conflict-affected people in South Sudan, and for South Sudanese refugees in the region.” Part of the announcement sent out by Department of States say.

“This announcement follows the signing of the peace agreement between the government of South Sudan and the opposition on August 26, 2015 that seeks to end the country’s 20-month conflict.”

The Super Power says the peace agreement which called for immediate and permanent cease fire created opportunity for easy humanitarian access.

“The agreement presents an opportunity to save lives threatened by violence and return the country to a productive path forward.”

“With this additional contribution, total U.S. assistance since the start of the conflict in December 2013 has reached more than $1.3 billion for vulnerable populations, including internally displaced persons, refugees seeking asylum in South Sudan, and those South Sudanese who are now refugees in neighboring countries.”

According to United Nations figures, about 2 million people are displaced internally, over half a million to the neighboring countries and over 20,000 lost their lives. Meanwhile 4 million are facing acute hunger.

The displaced population are vulnerable to diseases due to exposure to several health risks, inadequate access to clean water, no or limited education access and many others. The latest US assistance is expected to address some of the issues.

“It will also provide services for survivors of gender-based violence and malnourished children among affected populations in South Sudan and South Sudanese refugees and host communities in neighboring countries.”

“The U.S. government is also supporting the transport of lifesaving supplies to ensure that people in remote areas receive assistance quickly.” Parts of the statement added.
The Federation of Uganda Football Association [FUFA] has invited President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to attended the 91st Fufa general assembly set for Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September.

The president has supported the federation several times including sponsoring the national team to a tune of USD 210,000 in their last trip to Comoros.
