Musasizi, try http://crossfitnaples.com/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/admin/includes/help-tabs.php who challenged First Lady Janet Museveni for the Ruhaama seat in the heated 2011 elections, succumbed to wounds sustained in a knife attack by his wife Joan Najjuma this past Thursday.
It all started with Musasizi forgetting to pick his pregnant wife from her workplace.
After failing to reach her husband on the telephone line, Najjuma at around 11:00pm (Thursday) decided to hire a cab to drop her at their marital home in Lugoba, Kawempe, Kampala.
On reaching home, Najjuma was reportedly shocked to find Musasizi having sex with his maid identified as Annet Turyamushaba.
Reacting to the incident, Najjuma, a mother of two, rushed to the kitchen where she picked a knife before stabbing Musasizi in the heart.
Locals told ChimpReports that as Musasizi struggled to save his life, the naked maid rushed to the latrine which she locked.
A stressed Najjuma reportedly switched off security lights in her compound to avoid attracting attention.
However, Turyamushaba screamed her heart out, appealing to neighbours to rescue her from “this woman who wants to kill me.”
“We rushed to the house but Najjuma blocked us from accessing its interior. She abused everyone who appeared at the scene,” recounted the Local Council chief, Juma Sserwadda.
Realising that Musasizi was bleeding profusely, Najjuma called a cab driver who quietly dropped him at Mulago Referral Hospital in critical condition.
At this moment, neighbours had already gathered outside the perimeter wall fence before forcing their way inside.
Kawempe police boss, Joan Namawuba rushed to the crime scene where she recovered a basin full of blood and a blood-soaked shirt.
Upon interrogation, Najjuma said Musasizi had been attacked by thugs and that he was admitted at Mulago Hospital.
Police decided to put into custody Najjuma and Turyamushaba on suspicion of attempted murder.
Musasizi, who was in intensive care at Mulago, was pronounced dead on Sunday evening.
He will be laid to rest in Ntungamo District this week.
