The family of Reverend lsaac Bakka and residents of Misindye in Goma Division in Mukono Municipality are anxious about the mysterious disappearance of the man of God and former army officer.
Rev Bakka according to family members was last seen on Sunday evening when he moved out of his home following a call he received from an unknown number.
Eva Birungi, his daughter and a secondary school student says the caller asked for her father’s help in locating space to start up a supermarket in Seeta.
“I was using Dad’s phone when this man called. I heard their conversation about the space for rent and this man insisted that they meet at Total Pub at Seeta,” Birungi said.
Nalubowa Sylvia Bakka, the wife to the missing reverend says after waiting for him in vain, they tried to call his number with but no one received it and later it went off.
Baka is a retired cleric who also served as an army officer, rising to the level of Captain, and also a chaplain in the late seventies.
He currently has been working as a journalist and cameraman for BTN television and Nile FM.
The disappearance has been reported to Seeta police station under SD Ref 25/09/10/2017, although police were yet to respond to our requests for comments.
