A Chinese woman identified by police as Yang Yeshu has been murdered in an armed robbery after two armed men accessed the company she was working with and shot her.
The company is called Nile Steel Company and it is located in Mukono, between Kyegombya and Mbalala.
She, according to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Emilian Kayima, died in Namirembe hospital, Mukono.
The 60-year-old lady was a cashier at the company.
According to Kayima, on rushing to the scene, the police discovered “catridges, indicating that these are from a pistol gun.”
The Police Mouthpiece, in a recorded broadcast, said they were “studying a CCTV footage to establish if they also took money and who they are.”
He further revealed they were also “trying to identify the bike they used to and from the crime of scene.”
It should be remembered that on August 8, Remus, a German national and businessman, was attacked at his place of abode at Bwoweri, Njeru Town Council, Buikwe district and shot dead.
