Mukiibi Jets In as 6 More Drop Out of From Cranes Camp

Six more players have been dropped from Uganda Cranes camp preparing for the World cup qualifier against Congo Brazzaville on Saturday 12 November.

Only sixteen players out of the 33 initially in camp played a part in the 1-0 loss to Zambia on Tuesday evening.

The six include KCCA FC striker Derrick Nsibambi, this web Ilves forward Yunus Sentamu, no rx Joseph Nsubuga, Vitalis Tabu Abdul Malik (both SC Villa), Edrisa Lubega and Saddam Juma.

“I will engage these players after the 2018 FIFA world cup qualifier against Congo Brazzaville,” Cranes coach Micho remarked.

In a related development, Swedish based defender Ronald Mukiibi who turns out for Allsvenskan side Östersunds has arrived in the country and is expected to meet the technical bench on Wednesday and therein join camp.

“Mukiibi has arrived and he will take a rest at the team hotel in Naalya and later have a meeting with the Technical team headed by Cranes coach Milutin Sredojevic.

He will be provided with the day’s programme as released by the Cranes coach,” Fufa spokesman Ahmed Hussein confirmed through the federation media.
