Onduparaka FC have finally grabbed their first Uganda premier league victory following a 2-1 triumph over defending champions KCCA Fc on Friday in front of a fully packed Greenlight stadium in Arua.
Skipper Muhammad Shabaan grabbed both goals in the second half following a barren first half.
First half action
The away side kicked off the game through Sserunkuma and Mucuurezi but failed to penetrate Rashid Agau and skipper Muhammad Shabaan and immediately launched their first attack but Gadinho was stopped by Majwega before he could split through to a speedy Shaban.

The city lords made a quick counter through Majwega who dropped it up for Mucureezi inside the danger zone but his second touch met Rashid.
Mbowa nearly gifted away a goal, this site after his misplaced pass dropped on Mucureezi’s path for him to power beyond Anyama but flew wide.
Both tacticians made a single change at half time, page Adraa pulling off Agau Rashid for a more defensive Sabir Simba and Mutebi introducing Nigerian Sulaimon Akinyemi for a tired Vincent Kayizzi.
Onduparaka’s substitution fruitioned just two minutes later after Sabir picked Gadinho in the box. The midfielder missed but instead Shaban beat his marker and poked beyond Ochan’s reach. The captain buried his second at the hour mark in similar fashion from Wahab’s work.
Sulaimon Akinyemi consoled the defending champions with a beauty from outside the box in the 68th.
Onduparaka’s next game is against Kirinya.
