Makerere University Business School (MUBS) is organizing the 22nd Annual International Management Conference which will involve a Doctoral symposium, an Academic session and a Business Conference.
The powerful academic summit will take place between September 12 – 15, 2017.
According to Prof Vincent Bagire, the acting dean Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research (FGSR) the event will be hosted by the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (FEBA).
Bagire notes that “all current PhD students are expected to present a highlight of their progress subject to the detailed program that will be issued soon.”
The concerned students are therefore “informed to prepare accordingly.”
A communique by Bagire further reads: “All PhD students who have completed the Pilot should prepare to present a full research paper during the academic session.”
All staff who have graduated this year at their Master’s level, the statement continues, “should prepare a paper for the academic session (it could also be for the business conference) and should be ready to present.”
Bagire says that all the supervisors of the above group “should ensure that this (preparation) is done since “you are the co-authors.”
All research supervisors with Masters’ students who completed within two years are asked to request them to prepare a paper for either the Business or Academic session.
Everyone who benefited from the Norad Research grant is expected to present a paper on the findings.
