Makerere University Business School have come out to clarify on reports that one of their students was murdered in cold blood in Seeta, visit http://citrusresearch.org/wp-includes/class-wp-network-query.php Mukono, days ago.
The slain 23 year old Enid Twijukye, MUBS say, was not a registered student at the university as reported in the news.
Twijukye’s decomposing body was discovered Friday January 13, 2017 by Patrol Police after she went missing for almost two weeks.
Upon investigation however, MUBS say they found that the deceased was not a student there although she was admitted to the university.
“The office of the Dean of students has Investigated the allegation and found out that the above named was admitted to MUBS in the AY 2015/16, Reg No. 15/U/19384/EVE to pursue a Bachelors Degree in International Business (BIB),” clarified MUBS spokesperson Peter Odoki.
Records from School Registrar’s Office however, show that Twijukye didn’t honor her admission by registering with the school.
“She was therefore not a student of MUBS because she didn’t fulfill the requirements to become a bona fide student.”
Enid was laid to rest on Saturday January 14, 2017 in Rwemitoma Kiruhura District.
Media reports show that Police have in detention Twijukye’s former boyfriend who is the primary suspect in the murder.
