Police this morning recovered a dead body in a house in Bukiro Kashari, visit this site Mbarara district.

Annet Amutuhaire 35, drugs a resident of Kakondo village was found lying in a pool of blood on the neighbor’s doorway after being murdered by unknown assailants who used a big stone to break her door.

According to police preliminary investigations, the pregnant mother was raped and later killed at around 3am, leaving her two children motherless.

Residents said the murder could have been as a result of domestic misunderstandings. Annet’s husband had another woman with whom he’s believed to have spent the night.

OCCID Chiriga Taban said that the 3 assailants used a stone to break into her house where she was running a retail shop.

He said the body was taken to Mbarara referral hospital for postmortem while the hunt for the killers continues.
