Six year old Nicole Mitala, ambulance http://comeduraredipiu.com/wp-content/plugins/thrive-leads/editor-templates/post_footer/one_set.php a pupil at Greenhill Academy in Buwaate who went missing on Tuesday evening has been found.
The good news was confirmed by Samuel Kiggundu, stomach Nicole’s uncle.
“Nicole was recovered this evening. She was dropped off at Mapeera House by some people and she is currently with her parents,” an excited Kiggundu told ChimpReports on phone.
“Details of the kidnap are scanty as she is with her family and joy has been restored,” he added.
Mitala was reportedly picked from her school on Tuesday at around 5pm by a lady who was only identified as Amina and taken away before her parents could pick her up.
Parents in partnership with the Police would later launch a search for the little one, spreading out information to different media houses and social media.
While addressing media on Wednesday morning at Police Headquarters in Naguru, Kampala Metropolitan Area police spokesperson Emilian Kayima said that cases of child kidnap were on the rise, advising parents and teachers to take caution and be extra careful.
He noted that Nicole’s kidnap was the second a week’s period, following the kidnap of Stephen Mugambe, a child from Kawaala who was kidnapped by unknown people on his way to school.
