Minister Tumwebaze’s Son Decorated At New York Students Expo

Son of Information Minister Frank Tumwebaze was yesterday among those decorated at this year’s Genius Olympiad, medicine http://cccnt.com.au/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/deprecated/tribe_register_meta.php an annual arts and science students’ expo in New York.

Genius Olympiad is an international high school project competition about environmental issues. It is founded and organized by the Terra Science and Education and hosted by the State University of New York at Oswego.

This year’s episode had 850 student participants from the United States and 64 other countries across the globe.

The students presented their projects individually or in groups, in the fields of Science, Visual Performance Arts, Business, Writing and design.

Other Ugandans that participated in the 2016 Genius Olympiad included; Abdurahim Ibrahim (who presented Go Green Saves Lives), Wasswa Mark Kabanda, (Biological Insect Control In Tropical Farms Using Erythrina Abyssinica) and Hussein Yusuf Bashir (Score For A Better Environment).

Minister Frank Tumwebaze was excited by his ‘boy’s’ performance, tweeting; “You have made us proud!!!”
