The Minister of Information and Communication Technology and National Guidance, information pills Hon. Frank Tumwebaze has confirmed that he will open and attend the upcoming LeO Africa Economic Forum slated to take place on 7th July at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
The forum, what is ed now in its 4th year will be held under the theme: Assessing the impact of Disruptive Innovations on Growth & Development in Africa.
Tumwebaze is expected to talk about how government is embracing emerging technologies to make delivery of social services more efficient, viagra dosage and what initiatives government is putting in place to support innovation in Uganda to create employment opportunities for the country’s unemployed.
Convened by the LeO Africa Institute, the LeO Africa Economic Forum annually brings together thought leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs and decision makers in both the public and private sectors from across East Africa to discuss vital economic trends driving change in Africa, with the aim of building multi-sectoral consensus on how to harness these to build transformative economies that create jobs and bridge income inequality
This year’s forum is expected to attract over 300 people, and will be broadcast live on NBS TV.
Other speakers slated to speak the Forum include NBS C.E.O Mr. Kin Kariisa, Stanbic Bank CEO, Mr. Patrick Mweheire, Director General of NARO Dr. Ambrose Agona, among others.
