Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic “Micho” has bashed reports that he is dumping the national team for a job elsewhere.
The Serbian tactician has come put to indicate he is royal to his current job and any other reports should be regarded as false and unrealistic.
On Thursday morning, reports circulated on social media indicating Micho has agreed a move to join a certain club in Libya and the CHAN qualifier game against South Sudan will be his last game.
“I have been on the African continent for 16 years. I have lived through these rumours especially after the African Cup of Nations and I’m not moved,” he started.
“The fact is that I’m loaded with offers and if I present everything that I have at hand and on my phone, it would look like advertisement,” Micho added.
The tactician however added that he is aware about saboteurs who would want to fail the national team and have disguised presenting offers to him.
“I have learnt that I get a lot of respect elsewhere than here in Uganda. I have been keen enough to know that such rumors come up whenever we have a game coming up. But I want to inform you that I come from Serbia and we are dangerous people,” Micho furiously stated.
Micho also revealed that he is aware of plots for some people to leak information to Egypt ahead of the World Cup qualifier in August.
“The Egyptian advance team is already here and I’m aware that some Ugandans are ready to leak information to them. Well I love Uganda but I cannot love it more than you who were born here,” he said
Micho has been linked to several teams including Ghana, South Africa and Ethiopia among others.
