Uganda Cranes head coach, doctor Milutin Sredejovic alias Micho has expressed his disappointment about the low turn up of fans as Uganda played against Congo Brazzaville at Mandela national stadium on Saturday.

Micho while addressing the media in a post-match press conference hinted about the meager number of fans that turned up in the stadium as Uganda defeated Congo Brazzaville.

“I must say I’m a bit disappointed that the team has qualified to the African cup of Nations after a longtime but we have not more than ten thousand fans in the stadium today, buy information pills ” said Micho.

However, the Serbian tactician indicated that this will not distract the team from the set targets and will keep aiming at improving every other day.

“I’m proud of the work we are doing as a team, the coaches and I believe this has not been accidental,” he said.

“I want to tell you that it is only Uganda, South Africa and Zambia in the whole of East and Southern Africa that are playing in the World Cup qualifiers. So it is not accidental,” Micho stressed.

Uganda Cranes ascended to the summit of group E of the 2018 world cup qualifiers after a 1-0 win over Congo Brazzaville courtesy of Farouk Miya’s solitary strike in the 18th minute.

Uganda now has four points in two games and tops group E ahead of Ghana and Egypt who play on Sunday in Alexandria while Congo Brazzaville sit rock bottom, yet to pick a point.
