Mbuya Attack ‘Thwarted by Security’

Security has been beefed up at military facilities in Mbuya, link http://chios.ro/wp-includes/class-wp-customize-widgets.php Kampala after rebels targeted the sensitive installations on Sunday night.

Intelligence officials told ChimpReports on Monday that an attack was thwarted at Mbuya barracks “and the situation remains precarious.”

They refused to divulge more details citing security concerns.

An attack on Mbuya a few years ago led to the removal of then Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), http://cfbtoman.com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack-bbpress-json-api-compat.php Gen Aronda Nyakairima from office.

It also triggered a massive reshuffle in the armed forces.

Mbuya hill is home to the Ministry of Defence and headquarters of Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence.

President Museveni’s private offices and a war room are situated at the tightly-guarded hill.

Many wealthy businessmen, diplomats and high ranking government and military officials reside in the up market suburb.
