Mbarara Muslim Protesters Warn of Bloodshed

Muslims clerics at Abubakar Mosque in Mbarara on Friday staged a demonstration over their stolen land.

The angry Muslims vowed not to attend prayers until the mosque officials return their property which has been under the management of the Mosque.

Protesters accused the District Khad Sheik Ramathan Khamisi of quietly selling off the land without their consent and knowledge.

Police took hours persuading the aggrieved Muslims to discard their placards and attend Juma prayers.

“We will not stop fighting to regain 5 plots of mosque land (Limbo) illegally sold to one of the businessmen in Mbarara operating a fuel station, information pills http://cogocapital.com/lp/wp-includes/class-wp-http-proxy.php ” said one of the protesters.

Muslims warned the leaders of possible bloodshed if they don’t vacate office and return the sold land.

The chairman Abubakar mosque, Hajj Isa Kakuule urged protesters to attend prayers and patiently wait for Uganda Muslim Supreme Council to address the matter.
