Mbarara: 47-Year-Old Dies in Bar Brawl

Police in Kabale have arrested a senior five student of Kabale secondary school for shoplifting.

Wilson Turyabibasa (18), drugs http://cmavie.tv/theliac/client/rss/cmd.php a resident of Rwenkona village Mwendo parish Kitumba sub county, prostate Kabale district was arrested at around 11:30 am after he was caught with two bottles of Bella wine and Po Claire Jelly all worth Shs 40, mind 000.

Turyabibasa was exiting Royal supermarket with the products in his bag when one of the Indian attendants of the supermarket stopped him.

When his bag was searched, the items were found and on being interrogated, Turyabibasa revealed that he was taking them to his girlfriend who had threatened to damp him if he dint cater for her needs.

Augustine Nakitari, the Kabale acting DPC confirmed  the  arrest and revealed that  police  has commenced with investigations in the matter and the suspect will be charged.

According to some of the residents of Rwenkakja Cell in Biharwe, Mugume was apparently strangled to death by one of his colleagues after a fight erupted among the two in a certain bar.

OCCID Taban Chiriga confirmed the murder.

He asked bar operators to always take note of their clients and keep records of them since bar fights were becoming common of late.

“I caution each and every body to take care and avoid endangering any one’s life,” he said.

“Before police grants you protection, you need to protect yourselves first,” he told the residents.

The body was taken to Mbarara referral hospital for postmortem as investigations proceed.

The case is registered on police at CRB 2303/15.
