A controversial ruling NRM party pressure group garnering support for former Prime Minister Hon Amama Mbabazi’s presidency has continued to perplex the public.
Controversy is what defines their line of activity and so is the choice of their group’s name; “NRM Poor Youth.”
Above pictured is the group leader, Mr Adam Luzindana and one on his new rides – a Benz GL 420 BlueTEC.
Mr Luzindana calls his group as a deeply rooted force that is strongly opposed to the oppressive president Yoweri Museveni.
He says the group represents the interests of the ordinary person and that it wields a lot of backing from the grassroots.
Though its start was commanding, the NRM Poor Youth group has lately had a lot of its dirty linen out in the open and observers hold that it is clearly on a free fall.
The group leaders accuse each other of excessive greed for money, backbiting and playing double standards.
It was also not by surprise that one of them Sadam Ismael, who recently called it quits, accused the group leaders of turning it into a ‘political-business venture’ and ‘a show biz room.’
Sadam said he painfully quit the NRM Poor Youth on realizing it was only abusing and embarrassing the personality of Amama Mbabazi.
Just after the group CEO Adam Luzindana and other members were in the news making concessions with their purported enemy President Museveni at State House, another of its members Habib Mbowa recently confessed being influenced with cash to taint the name of Minister for President Hon Frank Tumwebaze.
And going by the definition that these youths have attached to the term Poverty, it appears they have been growing poorer and poorer by the day.
