Mandela national stadium is expected to be filled to rafters as the 2016 Masaza Cup climaxes on Saturday with fans from all over the different regions of Buganda and Uganda at large.

Buddu takes on Gomba in a much anticipated clash with both sides seeking to win the top prize. Buddu are searching to lift the trophy for the first time while Gomba who are record champions are seeking to win for a fourth time.

Buddu are into the finals for the second successive year after losing to Ssingo 5-0 in last year’s finals and will be seeking to win the title on their second attempt against record champions Gomba who have reached this year’s final unbeaten.

Buddu began their campaign with a 1-0 win over Kabula under coach Noah Mugerwa but he was later replaced by former SC Villa coach Stephen Bogere. In the semifinals, visit this site Buddu edged out Busujju 2-1 on aggregate.

On the other hand, troche Gomba who are the stewardship of David Lutaalo saw off Kyaggwe 3-0 on aggregate to storm into the finals.

Busujju and Kyaggwe will take to the field first in the third place playoff that will be graced by the Katikiro of Buganda, Owek. Charles Peter Mayega before the finals.

Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, the Kabaka of Buganda is expected to be guest of honour.
