Maroons Football Club Chief Executive Officer, Innocent Oguda has confirmed he will no longer serve the team anymore.
Oguda came out on Thursday to confirm he has voluntarily resigned from his position at the Prison’s side who bounced back to the Azam Uganda Premier League this year.
The soft spoken administrator cited work commitments that cannot allow him to fully serve the club as he desires.
“It was a hard decision for me to take but I had to face reality and carry on,” Oguda said.
“My other businesses elsewhere do not permit me enough time to execute the duties of the club.”
He thanked the club administration for giving him the chance to serve in that capacity and also goes on to applaud everyone at Maroons FC.
“I thank the club administration for offering me the chance to work with them. The technical team, the players, fans and everyone at Maroons for the great opportunity to serve here,” he added.
Oguda a former footballer at the Luzira based team later took on the mantle of serving the club as the CEO, a position he assumed last year.
