Tanzania Premier League giants Simba Sports Club and Azam FC have booked a date in the 2017 Mapinduzi cup final to be played Friday 13th at the Amaan stadium in Zanzibar.
Simba eliminated their bitter arch-rivals Young Africans 4-2 through the post-match penalty shoot outs that followed a barren 90 minutes of play.

This Azam FC’s third final in the tournament following their appearances in 2012 and 2013. They are also the only team that has not conceded a goal in the tournament so far.
