Man Injects Nephews With HIV/AIDS


A 22 year old man has been arrested in Kabale by police for allegedly spreading HIV/AIDS to two children – who are also his nephews – by injection.

It’s alleged that on 12th   December 2016 at their home Bosco Ngusi a resident of Hakabungo village Katuna town council of Kabale District injected his blood into the two children using a syringe, generic with the intent of giving the HIV/AIDS victim.

Elly Maate the Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson has confirmed the incident which he described as very unfortunate.

Maate adds that the suspect is in custody and police is still investigating to get sufficient evidence to arraign the suspect in court for trial.
