High Court Judge Justice Wilson Masalu Musene has sentenced Christopher Kalungi, viagra order http://challengemetennis.com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/module-info.php a resident of Lutete Nangabo Sub County in Wakiso district to 10 years in prison after convicting him of sodomizing a juvenile.
Kalungi is accused together with another a juvenile whose names are withheld for sodomizing a 7year old boy between the period of October and November 2014 in Luteete village.
The judge based on the evidence provided by Prosecution witnesses who included the victim himself, generic http://construction-cloud.com.au/wp-admin/includes/class-file-upload-upgrader.php his mother, grandmother and Kalungi’s co accused who pleaded guilty.
He also considered the medical report which confirmed that the boy was assaulted 5 times and scarred by the two accused persons, after giving him Shs 10,000.
The judge later on described Kalungi’s denial of the offence during plea taking as a futile attempt aimed at delaying justice.
Senior State Attorney Lucy Kabahuma today asked court to sentence the accused to death so that he may serve as an example to all those with similar minds.
“The victim is very young, his life is at stake because basing on his life condition he may not be able to participate in any sexual relationship for the rest of his life. The offence is unnatural and it
sends a bad image to the public,” submitted Kabahuma.
The defense lawyer Sylivia Namawejje on the other hand asked court to give the convict a lenient sentence because he is a young man and needs another chance to reform.
The judge thereafter, ruled that the convict not only inflict pain on the victim but also caused him psychological torture.
“I therefore convict you to 12 years in prisons, after subtracting the 2 yrs you have spent on remand you will serve 10 years in prison.” he ruled.
