Man Arrested for Sodomy of a 15 Year-Old

He advised them to apply to the high court for bail.

The Magistrate said the accused committed the offence contrary to section 204 clause (a) and (b) of the penal code act.

Richard Ayo, who shot the victim, was apparently hired by the couple.

The victim fortunately did not pass away but sustained serious injuries and was taken to Lacor hospital in Gulu for medical treatment.

The Uganda police spokesperson Fred Enanga said the offence was commited between the month of January and March, 2013.

The case is registered under CRB 618/2015 and the general inquiry file (GEF) has been opened at the police CIID headquarter number 715/2015.

Apac police is holding a 37 year-old man for allegedly sodomising a 15 year old boy.

Mr Owino said the suspect had been making sexual advances to the boy.

This came to our notice after the  matter was reported to Aduku central police station on Sunday.

The case is registered  under  CRB 594/2015 at Apac central police station.

“The victim and the suspect have been detained as investigations are being carried out. The suspect is expected to appear in court on Thursday,” Mr Owino said.

The medical examination conducted by Dr Alfred Acanga of Apac general hospital found that the victim sustained anal injuries.

Owino told the press at his office on Tuesday that the accused lured the victim  and promised to pay him Shs 200,000.

Mr Akaca K.K George, the area councilor for Aduku town said the minor was forced into the act after he was dragged to Mr Ogwang’s house.
