Makindye Grade One Magistrate Benson Ssemondo has released two members of the Uganda Young Democrats and supporters of American Republican candidate Donald Trump, case http://debbiehowes.com/wp-includes/class-requests.php who were Tuesday arrested for demonstrating outside the US Embassy in Nsambya.
Moses Bigirwa and Allan Kitonsa were released on a Shs.500, online http://cellulitzwalczyc.xyz/wp-includes/general-template.php 000 cash bond and 5 million non-cash for each of their sureties.
The two were picked up by police at the American Embassy where they were demonstration to show support to Donald Trump, who they said if elected next month, would help rid African dictators.
These were charged for not notifying police about their demonstration as required by the Public Order Management law. They pleaded to not guilty.
In spite of their lack of a lawyer, the suspects applied for bail, presenting five sureties to stand for them.
State prosecutor Timothy Amerit did not object to the bail but informed court that investigations in the matter are complete and requested court to fix the hearing date for the case.
The matter was adjourned up to 23rd November 2016 for hearing.
Upon release, the duo vowed to continue with their campaign for the Republican candidate in Uganda.
