Makerere University and its affiliate Makerere University Business School (MUBS) have released a full list of cut-off points and students who have been admitted on government sponsorship programmes for the academic year 2017/2018.
Makerere University of the 4000 slots available for government, cialis 40mg admitted 1244 students, while MUBS had slots for 286 students.
Popular traditional schools have scooped most spots, followed by a few renowned private schools.
Science courses, which have become the main emphasis of the government, dominated the number of students admitted.
Bachelors of Medicine and Dental surgery got 82 students, Electrical Engineering (32), Civil Engineering (37), Science with education (economics 32, physical 75, Biological 70) among others.
According to the list of cut-off points which has 81 programmes for government sponsorship; Civil Engineering tops the science programmes with 49.1 points, with Bachelor of Social and Social Administration topping the arts list with 51 points.
Students, according to Charles Ssentongo, the deputy registrar in charge of Undergraduate Admissions at Makerere University, will begin picking their admission forms starting June 1st.
Applications for undergraduate admissions on private have also began, and according to Ssentongo, only candidates who sat for UACE in 2016, 2015 and 2014 with at least two principle passes, and at least 5 credits in UCE will be eligible.
