This past Sunday, page http://confusedcoconut.com/wp-admin/includes/file.php former students of St Mathias Kalemba Secondary School chose to take off time to party from Resort Beach in Entebbe.
The youthful partiers enjoyed drinks and fish while dancing to latest tunes.
Little did any of them realise this would be their last celebration with 25-year-old Jonathan Rwothnga.
Jonathan, http://ciencialili.org/libraries/cms/schema/changeitemsqlsrv.php as he was fondly known, http://cosmoveda.de/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/emails/class-wc-email-new-order.php did not show any signs of illness or discomfort.
Bonny Atiku Bryant says he was partying with Jonathan yesterday evening at the beach together with their old O-level classmates.
“We left the place early to go home since today (Monday) is a working day only to receive heartbreaking news early this morning from our OB who happens to be his close mate at the Makerere Law School that my cousin has breathed his last,” he added.
“The cause of death, I still don’t know because Jonathan was fine and healthy when I last saw him.”
Ronald Kato Odong, a close friend of the deceased, said Jonathan was pronounced dead at Mulago Referral Hospital.
“I received a distress call at 1:00am from a strange person asking me to rush to Mulago and see my cousin who got involved in an accident. I rushed out and headed to Mulago at breakneck speed. Once I got there, I was shocked to be met by the lifeless body of my cousin Jonathan Rwothnga,” said Odong.
However, the health facility’s spokesperson Enock Kusasira said he was not aware about the incident.
“I checked with our police station. He is not in our records,” Kusasira told ChimpReports.
He asked us to cross-check with officials at the KCCA mortuary but we were yet to get a response by the time we published this story.
Mulago mortuary was recently closed for renovation.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Emilian Kayima was equally unavailable for comment.
But Makerere University head of security, Jackson Mucunguzi, said Rwothnga collapsed dead as he walked along Makerere Hill road near the university main gate at around 1:00am.
Mucunguzi said on arriving at the main gate, Rwothnga fell down before being rushed to Mulago where he was confirmed dead.
Odong said the deceased had “a bright future ahead of him.”
He said Jonathan was always clad in suits and spoke eloquently on matters of law.
“Fresh from his last year, he was due to graduate in January with a Bachelors Degree of Law from MUK. What remains a mystery is how he died because according to Police and what I saw, he had neither blood nor bruises. It is suspected he was poisoned but that can only be known after the postmortem,” he added.
