Lukwago Lauds KCCA FC, Pledges Support to Sports

Newly sworn in mayor Erias Lukwago has lauded Kampala Capital City Authority FC for winning the 2015-16 Azam Uganda Premier League crown.

KCCA Director Madam Jennifer Musisi was declared the patron officially and oversees all the activities of the club even though the Kampala mayor still refers to himself as “the club patron”. KCCA FC chairman wasn’t available on phone to clarify the matter by press time.

Lukwago was last active in the team in the 2013-14 season when the club won the tenth title and has since had a turbulent era that saw most of his allies like former councillor Allan Ssewanyana pushed out and a new board and management appointed.
