Aloysius Monday is said to have solicited Shs 250,000 from people at court

Police in Kabale district are holding a civil servant who is accused of impersonating as a magistrate.

He was arrested on Thursday evening at Kabale Courts of Judiciary while soliciting money from people, visit web http://cycling.today/wp-includes/query.php pretending to be a magistrate.

Nandinda says that he was surprised when the victims showed him Monday at the Court premises.

He says at the time of arrest, Monday had solicited Shs. 250,000 from five people.

Elly Maate, The Kigezi Regional Police spokesperson confirmed the arrest of Monday, saying that he is currently  held at Kabale Police Station as investigations into the matter carry on.

Last week, Julius Zaribugyire, the Kabale Chief Magistrates Court Clerk was arrested on allegations of soliciting a bribe of 600,000 shillings.
