The Members of Parliament from seven districts in the Lango sub-region have elected leaders to steer the group for the next two and half years.

Okot served in the same position in 9th Parliament also held the Chairmanship of Greater North Parliamentary Group.
The Dokolo South legislator is going to be deputized by the Oyam district woman Member of Parliament, http://constinta.com.br/v1/templates/yoo_venture/warp/helpers/path.php Santa Alum who is also the Whip of the Uganda People’s Congress party.
Other MPs elected in the Executive are Sylvia Akello representing Otuke women who is now General Secretary LPG and Ocen Akalo from Kole South who took the Treasure position.
The Dokolo North MP Amoru Paul who is also the Chairperson of Uganda Parliamentary forum on Media was entrusted with Publicity.
Amoru told ChimpReports after the elections that the new executive members are required to draw work plan focusing on the development in Lango.
“The new leadership will roll out its agenda in the coming days particularly focusing on the development in Lango sub-region,” Amoru said.
