“The club and the player agreed to end his contract on mutual consent,” a source at the club said.
“His form has really gone down and we felt it’s important we release him so that he can get a better chance in another environment.”
The former Express FC and SC Villa goalie joined Thika United during June mid-season transfer window from Muhorony Youth FC.
He has played in two games out of fifteen for the club but was disappointing conceding six goals. The two games include a 4-0 humiliation against AFC Leopards on Saturday 9th July and another 2-1 loss a week earlier.
“He has really struggled to get back on his feet since that game (vs AFC Leopards),” he added.
Thika United is the home to another Ugandan goalie Hamza Muwonge. The club finished the KPL on 12th position with 34 points, scoring 24 goals while letting in 32 on the way.
