President Yoweri Museveni has held a meeting with Mr. Ethan Kim, pharm http://celiac-disease.com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/sync/class.jetpack-sync-module-constants.php Mr. Myungil Hur and Mr. Yong -Yun Park, who are representatives of a South Korea enterprise – SeAH Steel Corporation. The company specializes in the manufacture of oil pipelines.
During the meeting that took place on Monday at State House, Entebbe, Mr. Kim assured the President that SeAH is interested in setting up a factory at Tanga Port in Tanzania to provide the pipes and spare parts for the Uganda oil pipeline project that is slated to run from the Albertine Region in Western Uganda to the Tanzanian port of Tanga.
Museveni welcomed the idea saying it would reduce the time spent importing sections of the pipeline.
“When sections of the pipeline are made from far, the cost is higher but having a factory here, reduces the cost of importing and the time the equipment takes to get here is shortened,” he said.
